Preparation of Functionalized Mesoporous Silica as a Novel Carrier and Immobilization of Laccase

Amino-modified mesoporous silica (SBA-15-NH2) was prepared by hydrothermal method, which is a kind of excellent carrier for enzyme immobilization. The structure SBA-15 characterized SEM and FTIR, proved that amino group successfully attached to the surface SBA-15. had good nitrogen adsorption desorption test. Using SBA-15-NH2 as carrier, optimal conditions laccase immobilization two different cross-linking methods were explored. At same time, properties immobilized free compared. results showed activity two-step method (2977.5 U/g) much higher than one-step (239.5 U/g). follows: (35°C, pH=4.5), (40°C, pH=4.0), pH=4.0). more adaptable temperature. pH adaptation range wider, thermal stability greatly enhanced. After five cycles repeated reaction, residual 56% 43% original. treatment simulated wastewater containing 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) also studied. Under optimum pH=5.0, 20 mg/L), removal 2,4-DCP reached 89.06%. really effective 2,4-DCP-containing
